Visas first — Indian passport

JAPAN Visa required (no visa-free). Single-entry tourist eVisa via accredited agency / VFS, ~5 working days. Single-entry is fine — you enter once and exit to Korea.

KOREA K-ETA does not apply — get a C-3 tourist visa (sticker, via embassy/VFS) and complete the online e-Arrival Card before landing. Apply for both ~6–8 weeks out.

Trip A — Classic Order Your route
Tokyo first, Golden Route west, mountains, Fuji, back to Tokyo, finish in Seoul.
Trip B — Smooth Sweep No backtracking
Fly into Osaka, one clean west→east line, Fuji as finale before Tokyo, then Seoul.
Trip A route Trip B route dashed = flight leg Tap any city pin for hotel & cost.
Trip A: Mumbai → Tokyo → Kyoto → Hiroshima → Osaka → Takayama → Lake Kawaguchi → Tokyo → Seoul → Mumbai
Why you'll like itTokyo while you're freshest, follows your original order, easy non-stop Mumbai→Tokyo flights. Fuji sits naturally on the way back.
Trade-offYou touch Tokyo twice — a little doubling-back from Kawaguchi into Tokyo before Seoul (minor; Fuji is Tokyo's backyard).
Trip B: Mumbai → Osaka → Hiroshima → Kyoto → Takayama → Lake Kawaguchi → Tokyo → Seoul → Mumbai
Why you'll like itOne continuous west→east line, no backtracking, quieter Kansai start, Fuji as the climax, then Tokyo neon before Seoul. Least train time.
Trade-offMumbai→Osaka is usually one stop (fewer non-stops), and the big shinkansen legs come early while jet-lagged.
